Forestry Innovation Investment (FII), the Crown corporation responsible for developing markets for British Columbia forest products, has appointed Russ Taylor to its board of directors.
Russ Taylor is the founder of International Wood Markets Group Inc. and currently leads Russ Taylor Global, a consultancy specializing in international wood business and market analysis. He has advised clients worldwide on forest product supply, demand, and pricing dynamics.
According to British Columbia’s Minister of Forests, Ravi Parmar, Taylor’s expertise in global forest markets will support FII’s work in strengthening the province’s forest sector, diversifying markets, and promoting innovation across B.C. forestry industries.
FII stated that Taylor’s appointment aligns with its mission to expand market opportunities for B.C. wood products and sustain the province’s role as a major contributor to Canada’s forest economy.
