Denis Manturov, the Industries and Trade Minister of Russia, expressed support for private ownership of the forestlands in Russia. He spoke at the opening and plenary discussion of the III industry forum “LPK 360 °: from all points of view”.
'This is one of the most important topics for Russian industrialists and entrepreneurs. Today we got an understanding of why this is necessary in the first place - to provide a collateral component for obtaining preferential loans for the construction of plants, and for the state - certain guarantees that the owner will take care of the land that he acquired. If there is a fire on the site, then this is primarily damage to the owner, so he will precisely control his site, make sure that it is in proper order. This issue requires additional discussions not only in the industry segment, but also in a wider format with the public and at the interdepartmental level, said Denis Manturov.
