Russian UPG increased plywood prices in Russia by 10% from Nov 1

Nov 20, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. United Panel Group (Russia) has increased plywood prices in Russia by 10% from November 1. Price increasing related to lack of raw material, company said in the statement. Company expects decreasing in plywood production in Russia in 2007. The stocks of Russian plywood mill currently very low, UPG said. The lack of raw material resulted in twofold prices growth. Second reason of price increasing is depreciation of US dollar.
