Jan Svedjebrant has been appointed acting General Counsel of SCA, effective December 1, 2021.
Current General Counsel Katarina Nilsson will leave SCA on November 30 at her own request to take up a role as General Counsel in another company.
Jan Svedjebrant worked between 2001 and 2020 at SCA and held the role of General Counsel between 2017 and December 31, 2019. Since leaving his role as General Counsel, Jan Svedjebrant has been Senior Advisor Legal Affairs at SCA and has been working at the law firm MAQS since January 2021.
A process for recruiting a new General Counsel has been initiated.
The core of SCA’s business is the growing forest, Europe’s largest private forest holding. The company offers packaging paper, pulp, wood products, renewable energy, services for forest owners and efficient transport solutions.
