Dr. Marc Baumgartner will become the new Chief Executive Officer of STARK Deutschland, effective 1 January 2026. He succeeds Michael Knüppel, who will assume the role of Senior Executive Advisor for the parent STARK Group. In addition, he will continue to represent STARK Deutschland in the German builders’ associations.
Baumgartner, who joined the company as Chief Sales Officer in February 2025, brings over 20 years of industry experience from senior roles at companies including Würth. He will take over leadership after Knüppel's tenure, during which STARK Deutschland expanded into Austria and the roofing market, consolidated 15 brands to four, and increased net sales by approximately 25%.
