Dec 06, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. The Australian Laminex Group with headquarters in Victoria is a part of Fletcher Building Ltd of Auckland, New Zealand. Laminex has 7 production facilities in Australia and 5 in New Zealand and is a major manufacturer and laminator of panels for the construction and furniture industries. This new installation for drying of wood particles is part of the modernization of the particleboard plant in Dardanup, Western Australia and has a capacity of 40.000 kg OD/h. The dryer is a direct heated dryer with a drum diameter of 5.6 meters and a drum length of 30 meters. Deliveries and construction are scheduled for the beginning of 2006, and startup target date is June 2006.
