Dec 17, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. To better serve and support its UK and Irish customers Södra Wood is now establishing its own sales office in the UK, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network. 

“The search for a President and sales personnel is under way and the business will be launched in the first quarter of next year," says Håkan Svensson, President of the Södra Wood business area.

The aim of the initiative is to provide better service and support for customers, as a supplement to Södra Wood's collaboration with Crown Timber, in which Södra is a partner.

"Customers are currently served by employees from Sweden, and the introduction of local representatives will be a major improvement. The President and sales personnel will therefore be recruited locally, and the recruitment process is now under way."

Södra Wood is a major supplier of sawn timber to the UK.
