May 24, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. New company Segezha packaging was officially registered on May 23, 2007. The company appeared within the framework of formation of Investlesprom holding at the base of former product line Paper sacks and packaging of Segezha PPM. Segezha PPM CEO Roman Pokrovsky tells: “Creation of the new legal body is an intermediate result of the process which has been started at the end of March. The next step will include integration of Segezha packaging in the Segezha Packaging division which operates under the structure of Investlesprom holding. In course of the next two months Segezha packaging company will acquire equipment and assets, will assume obligations on contract conclusion and recruit the stuff as independent legal body. The vast majority of the workers will come from PL Sacks.” Segezha packaging company will not only retain its status of the largest producer of paper packaging in Russia but its also expected that it will increase production output compared to target in the second half 2007.
