Setra completed the wooden structural frame for Electrolux Group’s new office and residential complex in Stockholm in just nine months, including the design phase. The project, located in the Greenhouse Sthlm neighborhood on Kungsholmen, includes an expansion of Electrolux Group’s headquarters and a residential building with 114 condominiums.
Setra supplied the cross-laminated timber (CLT) and glulam frame, executing the project with a high degree of prefabrication. Efficient logistics, including up to five deliveries per week at peak times, supported on-time completion despite logistical challenges posed by the urban location.
Construction teams erected the office and residential structures simultaneously from different directions. Setra collaborated closely with Byggpartner, which managed assembly, to streamline on-site work by relocating tasks such as plasterboard installation to Setra’s factory. The partnership emphasized planning adaptability and rapid problem-solving to maintain progress throughout the project.
