Sherwood Lumber will launch a new distribution center in Danville, Pennsylvania on 6 April 2026, coinciding with a strategic distribution agreement with LP SmartSide for engineered wood siding and trim products. The purpose-built facility will serve contractors, remodelers and dealers across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware, according to Sherwood Lumber.
The expanded regional inventory capacity will provide customers with broader on-hand stock and localized technical support. The agreement combines LP SmartSide's siding systems with Sherwood's service model to streamline logistics and reduce freight costs. Contractors will gain access to specification assistance and jobsite advice for exterior building products and outdoor living solutions.
Todd London, Senior Vice President of Sales at Sherwood Lumber, stated that the partnership delivers a capability upgrade combining product performance with local specialist support. LP SmartSide Regional Sales Manager Tony Mattare noted that Sherwood shares the company's customer-centric focus and will help strengthen LP's regional presence.
Sherwood Lumber is a regional distributor dedicated to professional builders, remodelers and dealers.
