Niklas Ringborg has been appointed as CEO of CRK Forest Management, the manager of the well-established forestry funds Silvestica Green Forest. The funds' forest holdings currently amount to a total of approx. 140,000 ha spread over Sweden, Finland and the three Baltic countries, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Niklas Ringborg has a solid forestry background that began with a master's degree in industrial economics. After that and until recently, Niklas has been active in various leading positions within Landshypotek Bank and then with a particular focus on, among other things, a major land and forest owner as well as Landshypotek's successful investment in green bonds that was carried out a few years ago.
Niklas has a great and strong interest and experience in practical forestry through his involvement in the family's agricultural and forestry ownership in Östergötland and in Mälardalen.
Niklas succeeds Rickard Lehmann, one of the founders and who since 2017 has very actively and meritoriously built up CRK. Rickard Lehmann will continue as Senior Advisor.
Silvestica Green Forest AB is a long-term forestry fund for institutional investors founded by SEB, Hesselmanska Stiftelse and CRK in the spring 2017.
