Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood doubled

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in August 2021 was worth Euro 4.9 million, which is almost 18% more than in July 2021. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by about 26%, while the value of purchased pulpwood was almost the same as in the previous month. The values of purchased wood fuel and of other industrial roundwood were lower by about 52% and by 29%, respectively.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in August 2021 was twice as high as in August 2020. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 151% and of pulpwood by 21%. The value of purchased wood fuel was lower by almost 55% and of other industrial roundwood by almost 5%.
