Compared to last June, the total value of roundwood purchased from Slovenian private owners increased by 61.7%. The value of sawlogs and veneer logs went up the most – the 73.5% increase was due to an increase in the purchase value of coniferous logs. The values of pulpwood and wood fuel also increased. On the other hand, the value of purchased other industrial roundwood decreased, according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia.

Compared to May, the total value of roundwood purchased from private owners decreased by 13.3%. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs also went down by the same share. It declined in all categories, with oak logs recording the largest drop. The value of purchased wood fuel was down by a third and of other industrial roundwood by 27.1%.
