Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood decreased by 25% in April

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2019 was worth Euro 4.7 million, which is about 22% less than in the previous month, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by almost 19%, of wood fuel by about 49%, of pulpwood by about 13% and of other industrial roundwood by just over 24%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2019 was almost 25% lower than in April 2018, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by more than 29% and of pulpwood by about 15%. The values of purchased wood fuel and other industrial roundwood were higher than a year ago (by almost 9% and by 11%, respectively).
