Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood decreased by 47% in September

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in September 2017 was worth Euro 4.2 million, which is about 28% less than in the previous month (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 30%, of pulpwood by almost 16%, and of other industrial roundwood by almost 12%. On the other hand, the value of wood fuel was about 5% higher than in the previous month.
The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in September 2017 was more than 47% lower than in September 2016, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by almost 49%, of wood fuel by almost 53%, of other industrial roundwood by almost 43% and of pulpwood by 35%.
