Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood increased by 17% in October

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in October 2018 was worth Euro 5.4 million, which is almost 39% more than in the previous month, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased wood fuel was higher by 48%, of sawlogs and veneer logs by about 39%, of pulpwood by 36% and of other industrial roundwood by about 9%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in October 2018 was more than 17% higher than in October 2017, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 7%, of pulpwood by almost 71% and of wood fuel by about 77%. The value of purchased other industrial roundwood was almost the same as a year ago.
