Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in December 2018 was worth Euro 4.5 million, which is about 8% less than in the previous month, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 15%, while the values of purchased other categories of roundwood were higher: of pulpwood by almost 4%, of wood fuel by about 19% and of other industrial roundwood by about 39%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in December 2018 was almost 43% higher than in December 2017, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 51%, of wood fuel by 60%, of pulpwood by about 9% and of other industrial roundwood by 167%.
