Slovenia: Value of purchased roundwood increased by 11% in June 2016

Slovenia's value of roundwood purchased from private owners in June 2016 was Euro 4 million, which is about 21% less than in the previous month (mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs and of pulpwood was lower by about 21%, of wood fuel by about 12% and of other industrial roundwood by 35%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in June 2016 was about 11% higher than in June 2015, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by about 24%, while the value of purchased pulpwood was lower by about 18%, of other industrial roundwood by 25% and of wood fuel by about 33%.
