Slovenia: Value of purchased roundwood increased by 45% in September 2016

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in September 2016 was worth Euro 8 million, which is about 6% more than in the previous month (mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by 4%, of pulpwood by about 36% and of other industrial roundwood by about 39%, while the value of purchased wood fuel was lower (by almost 20%).

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in September 2016 was about 45% higher than in September 2015, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by about 51% and of pulpwood by about 33%, while the value of purchased wood fuel and of other industrial roundwood was lower by about 24% and 25%, respectively.
