Slovenia: Value of purchased roundwood rose 22% in April

Slovenia's value of roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2016 was Euro 5.7 million, which is about 47% more than in the previous month (mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood), as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by about 55%, of pulpwood by almost 30% and of other industrial roundwood by almost 12%. Slightly lower was only the value of purchased wood fuel (by about 3%).

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in April 2016 was about 22% higher than in April 2015, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by about 39%, while the value of purchased pulpwood was lower by 14%, of other industrial roundwood by 26% and of wood fuel by about 42%.
