Snavely Forest Products, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MacArthur Company, announces a strategic partnership with Weyerhaeuser to distribute Trus Joist engineered wood products in its eastern markets. The agreement enhances Snavely’s ability to serve professional builders and dealers with structural framing solutions across key markets through distribution centers in Westminster, MD, Liberty, NC, and Pittsburgh, PA, according to Snavely Forest Products.
The product range to be stocked and distributed includes Trus Joist’s TJI joists, TimberStrand LSL rim board, Microllam LVL, and Parallam PSL. Snavely President Clark Spitzer stated that the collaboration creates an opportunity for both companies to grow engineered wood volumes and better serve the Mid-Atlantic region with high-performance building solutions. Vice President of Eastern Operations Bill Georgelis said the addition strengthens Snavely’s product portfolio, aligning with its brand statement, “Building Business for Our Partners.”
Weyerhaeuser’s East Region EWP Sales Director Bill Rieger emphasized that Snavely’s customer relationships, service quality, and market knowledge make it an ideal partner to represent and grow the Trus Joist brand.
