Sep 23, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Sonae Indústria announces the start-up production of the new melamine press at White River plant in South Africa. This line corresponds to an investment of about Euro 8 million.
Also, Sonae Indústria began production with a new Hot Gas Generator, based on renewable resources (biomass) which substitutes the previous energy generator, which partially still used fossil fuels.
This investment, of about Euro 11 million, will meet the thermal energy requirements used in the industrial process.
