Southeast Building Supply Interests (SBSI) has expanded into Montgomery, Alabama, through the acquisition of Alpha Lumber & Supply, marking its eleventh location and second in the state. The deal adds an 80-year-old business that serves the local building community to the SBSI portfolio.
Longtime owner Ken Williams will continue to lead Alpha's operations, partnering with SBSI President Tom Tolleson and the leadership team. The partnership follows SBSI's model of providing infrastructure and operational resources while preserving local entrepreneurial culture. The company intends to continue expanding across the Southeast by partnering with family-owned building materials dealers.
