SpanoGroup has reached an agreement on June 1st with Dynea Chemicals Oy (Finland) to acquire 100% of the shares of its Belgian division Dynea N.V., as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network Dynea NV, located in Ghent, manufactures urea and urea melamine resins for the composite board industry and is a long time supplier of SpanoGroup. SpanoGroup is already active in the resin production through its daughter company Locatank in the harbour of Ghent and will further strengthen its vertical integration of resin production by acquiring Dynea NV. Dynea NV will continue to supply its current customers, as well as Spanogroup. The divestment of their Belgian division follows Dynea Chemicals Oy’s strategy to concentrate on their core product and application areas.
