Stark Group has reached a significant milestone in the construction of its new national distribution centre in Greater Copenhagen, Denmark. The new facility is a cornerstone of Stark Group’s strategic investment in strengthening its logistics infrastructure and enhancing the delivery of building materials across Denmark. The progress was marked with a traditional topping-out ceremony, just six months after construction began.

Spanning 24,000 square metres, the distribution centre will support the daily delivery of over 50,000 SKUs, mainly light-side materials, to construction sites and Stark branches across the country. Once operational, the centre will enable faster deliveries and reduce wasted time for tradespeople nationwide.

Strategically located in Greater Copenhagen, the facility will provide Stark with access to 35% of its customers within a one-hour drive. This strengthens the Group’s efficiency, customer service, and presence in growth areas, particularly in and around large cities, where construction activity is most significant.

The new distribution centre is expected to be completed in the summer of 2026.

Stark Group is a leading business-to-business merchant and distributor of heavy building materials for the construction industry in Europe, with a strategic focus on serving professional builders from its more than 1,100 branches.
