Stora Enso postpones reorganisation of its Renewable Packaging Division
Stora Enso is postponing the reorganisation of its Renewable Packaging Division that was announced on 21 March 2014 and was originally intended to be implemented as of 1 July 2014. Following Jouko Karvinen’s decision to leave his position as CEO and today’s announcement of the appointment of Karl-Henrik Sundström as the new CEO, it has been decided to postpone the reorganisation until the CEO transition has been completed.

Division that was announced on 21 March 2014 and was originally
intended to be implemented as of 1 July 2014. Following Jouko
Karvinen’s decision to leave his position as CEO and today’s announcement of
the appointment of Karl-Henrik Sundström as the new CEO, it has been decided to
postpone the reorganisation until the CEO transition has been completed. Until
the reorganisation is implemented, the Renewable Packaging Division businesses
will continue to report to the CEO, as the company said in the press release
