International technology group Andritz has received an order from Sudama Wood Panel to supply a pressurized refining system for its new fiberboard production line in Uttarakhand, India. Start-up is scheduled for the Q1 2024.
The pressurized refining system from Andritz will process 100% hardwood for producing high-quality medium density fiberboard (MDF). Designed for a capacity of 25 tons per hour, the system will include a 20” plug screw feeder and an innovative 54-1CP disc refiner to achieve superior fiber quality at reduced electrical and thermal energy consumption.
