After more than seven years as CEO of Swiss Krono Group, Martin Brettenthaler decided to pursue a new professional path. At the owner’s request, he continued to manage the Group’s business until today so that a successor could be put in place.
As of February 1, 2024, Peter Wijnbergen will take over the management of the Group by stepping into the role of CEO. Peter Wijnbergen has been a member of the Board of Directors of Swiss Krono Holding Ltd since 2022 and can look back on a long career in the wood-based materials industry, most recently as CEO of Norbord.
Martin Brettenthaler will now leave the Group on January 31, 2024 on the best terms with the Group’s owner and Board of Directors.
The search for a successor has been initiated. By taking on the role of CEO, Board of Directors member Peter Wijnbergen will ensure continuity in the management of Swiss Krono Group and drive the Group’s further growth.
