Swiss Krono Ukraine received E [D2020] certificate

Swiss Krono Ukraine received a certificate E [D2020], issued by WKI Certification body (Brownschwaig, Germany), as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The certificate confirms compliance with the requirements of the Decree on the prohibition of Chemicals and the “Law on Chemical substances” (ChemVerbotsV), which comes into force in Germany from 01.01.2020 on the content of free formaldehyde.

 This law defines the content of free formaldehyde in products at the level ≤ 0.1 ppm, which is equivalent to a 4mg formaldehyde/100g of dry slab or emission class E 0.5 and it spreads to products made of wood. According to the new law, wood materials with and without coating (wood-shavings, joinery, plywood boards and wood-fibrous plates) should not be placed on the German market, if the concentration of formaldehyde in the air of a test room, caused by wood material, exceeds the set norm of 0.1 ppm.

“Swiss Krono” LLC, a company member of Swiss Krono Group, was established in December 2000. At present, the company includes three production branches located in Lviv Region – Kamianka-Buska Town, in Ivano-Frankivsk Region – Broshniv-Osada Township and in Kharkiv Region – Solonytsivka Township.
