Thailand’s first FSC-certified Tetra Pak carton package launched

Aug 20, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Beverages manufacturer Green Spot and Tetra Pak announced the launch of Thailand’s first beverage product packed in FSC-labeled Tetra Pak cartons.
A popular soymilk beverage, “Vitamilk Original Flavour” is also the first diary product in Thailand to be awarded the Carbon Reduction Label. Issued by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization and the Thailand Environment institute, the label recognizes efforts to reduce emissions during production.
Tetra Pak sold more than 2.3 billion FSC-labeled packages worldwide in 2009. Committed to supporting increased FSC certification of forests, Tetra Pak’s ultimate aim is to produce all of its cartons using wood from responsibly managed forests with FSC certification.
