The WOOD TAIWAN 2022 DigitalGo has attracted more than 2,000 visitors from more than 20 countries since its launch on April 28.

Sourcing Taiwan, a matchmaking service for buyers looking for woodworking suppliers, was launched on day one. Companies such as Japanese Asahi Woodtec have greatly appreciated the opportunity to form new connections during the pandemic. More than 100 meetings have been arranged with top buyer countries, including India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Poland, and Thailand.

Next on stage was the WOODiscover Factory Tour, which has been one of the most popular events in WOOD TAIWAN DigitalGo. From May 2 onward, exhibitors have been showcasing their products and production lines online for seven consecutive days and interacting directly with the viewers. The videos also are available on-demand, allowing business opportunities to keep developing.

Six leading exhibitors (Anderson Industrial, OAV, INNOVATOR, LEADERMAC, Jun Shiau and Kuang Yung) were interviewed in a webinar series launched in cooperation with the "Manufacturers Win Podcast". The interviews gave audiences an insight into the latest trends in the woodworking machinery industry, including how production processes have been made more environmental friendly more digitalized, more system-integrated, and so on. The first episode of WOOD Insight was aired on the last day of the exhibition, in which Harry Urban, publisher of the United States’ Woodworking Network, analyzed the North American woodworking machinery market.

Co-organized by TAITRA and TWMA, WOOD TAIWAN is a platform that continues to bring high-quality exhibits and professional content.
