Thimm Group appointed Kornelius Thimm to the Management Board. The 39-year-old is thus expanding the current management team Mathias Schliep (CEO) and Jens Fokuhl (CFO). As COO (Chief Operating Officer), he will be responsible for the operating business of the Thimm Group, which includes production, engineering, purchasing and logistics.
In his twelve-year career, he initially led development projects in the BMW Group in Munich (Germany) and Detroit (USA). Subsequently, he was responsible for business development at Conprinta Printing Technology.
Most recently, Kornelius Thimm was the Director Customer Support at Beumer Maschinenfabrik, a leading international manufacturer of intralogistics.
Since 2013, Kornelius Thimm has been attended the Thimm Group's development in the company's advisory board.
Thimm Group is one of the leading system suppliers of transport and sales packaging made from corrugated cardboard, high-quality sales displays, packaging systems with multiple materials and packaging-related services in the German and European market.
