Jun 30, 2005. /Lesprom Network/ Tilly (Austria) intends to build a sawmill with the capacity of 600 thousand cub m of sawn timber/yr new Mondi Business Paper Syktyvkar (Komi Republic, Russia), MBPS public-affairs announced. The project is estimated at $30-40 million. The new enterprise will supply wood chips for pulp production, as well as shavings and bark for the heating plant of Syktyvkarsky, and will receive saw logs in exchange. MPBS will provide the sawmill with its infrastructure and acquire 15% of shares of the new enterprise.
