In 2004 overall cargo turnover by Vostochny Port increased 33% to 20.461 million tons.
According to CEO Dmitri Lisin, the cargo turnover increased due to the improvement of cargo procession efficiency, cooperation with railway services and strict compliance with the loading and unloading, as well as storage standards.
