Timber production by Vologodskie Lesopromyshlenniki up 2% in 2004

Jan 17, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Vologodskie Lesopromishlenniki increased timber production 3% to 1.2818 million cub m in 2004 compared to 2003, corporate spokesperson told Lesprom.ru. Logs removal increased 9% to 1.2271 million cub m, sawn timber – up 6% to 1.2003 million cub m. In 2004 Vologodskie Lesopromyshlenniki increased timber production using assortment technology 48% to 45.5 thousand cub m. In 1Q of 2005 the company will launch a new assortment production facility that will allow to increase the efficiency of timber production.
