Tomi Ristimäki joins Lunawood as CEO on 20 April

Tomi Ristimäki has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Oy Lunawood Ltd, a Finnish manufacturer of thermally modified wood products, and will assume the position on 20 April 2026. He brings experience as former CEO of Kempower Oyj and from senior sales management positions, with a track record in leading growth and transformation both in Finland and internationally.

Current CEO Arto Halonen, who joined Lunawood in 2012, will continue with the company as a Senior Advisor. Halonen will support Ristimäki during the onboarding process and will later contribute to company development through assignments defined by the Board of Directors and the new CEO. He will also remain a member of the Board of Directors of Lunaholder Oy.
