Feb 07, 2012. /Lesprom Network/. Toscotec has extended its reach in Asia thanks to new agency agreements in Japan and South Korea. The Toscotec patented TT SYD 12 FT will be fitted as part of a rebuild on PM 2 at Nishinihon Eizai, a leading producer of tissue based on recycled fiber in Japan, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. Nishinihon Eizai was founded in 1963. The mill is in Tatsuno, near Osaka. It houses six paper machines and produces 2,500 tons per month of toilet roll and tissue towel made from 100% waste paper. Toscotec Asia & Pacific General Manager Marco Dalle Piagge has signed agency agreements with Shinsei Corporation in Japan and Cleantech Corporation in South Korea. Mr. Dalle Piagge is based in Shandong, China, in which Toscotec has a significant installed base. Successes in South Korea for Toscotec Asia & Pacific include the recent sales of steel Yankees to Mirae Paper Co. Ltd in Jeonu and to Daewang Paper Industry Co. in Gunsan. Mirae Paper has three paper machines producing a total of some 180 tpd of tissue. Most of the converting activities are carried out by a sister company. Toscotec will install a TT SYD 12 FT on PM 3 with 3130 mm face length and patented insulation system. PM3's speed is expected to increase from 1400 to 1700 mpm. Waste paper will be used as raw material and production is expected to increase from 60 tpd to more than 70 tpd. Daewang Paper has four tissue paper machines giving a capacity of around 190 tpd. Two of the lines have integrated converting facilities. The TT SYD 12 FT with face length of 3050 mm will be installed on PM1.
