Toyota Financial Services plans to expand its workspace in Frisco, Texas, by occupying The Offices at Southstone Yards, a seven-story mass-timber office building developed by Crow Holdings Development, and the company will be the building’s single tenant, based on figures released by Toyota Financial Services.
The building totals 242,000 square feet and includes private terraces on each floor, a fitness and wellness center, meeting spaces, and access to three acres of surrounding park space. The project anchors the Southstone Yards mixed-use development, which spans 45 acres and is planned to add retail, restaurant, residential, and hotel space.
Duda|Paine Architects, working in partnership with Gensler, designed the building with exposed timber columns, beams, and ceilings, along with floor-to-ceiling windows. The design includes hospital-grade filtration, a mass-timber stair connecting two levels of a double-height lobby, and terraces on each level with views of two newly created parks.
The parks cover three acres and include a hike-and-bike trail, with space planned for food trucks and future dining options.
