Terms of the deal were not disclosed. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to add these world-class assets to our converting system,” said Dennis Mehiel, chairman and CEO for US Corrugated. “We already operate a successful sheet-feeder in Ft. Worth, but an important part of our strategy is to project full box-making capability into most major US markets. We could not have found a better fit for the Southwest.” US Corrugated is an independent converter that produces more than 600 thousand tons of packaging at its 22 corrugated facilities.
