U.S. recovered paper consumption decreases 3% in November
Dec 23, 2010. Total U.S. industry consumption of recovered paper was 2.49 million tons, 3% lower than November of last year and 6% lower than last month. However, the U.S. consumed 7% more recovered paper in the first 11 months of 2010 than during the same period last year.

However, the U.S. consumed 7% more recovered paper in the first 11 months of 2010 than during the same period last year, the American Forest & Paper Association said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
The U.S. exported 9% more recovered paper in October than in September. Year-to-date exports of recovered paper are down 2% compared to the same months last year.
The American Forest & Paper Association is the national trade association of the forest products industry, representing pulp, paper, and wood products manufacturers, and forest landowners.
