U. S. total boxboard production increased 2.9% when compared to August 2016, and increased 0.7% from last month, as the American Forest & Paper Association said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Unbleached kraft boxboard production increased over the same month as last year and increased compared to last month. Total solid bleached boxboard & liner production increased when compared to August 2016, but decreased compared to last month. The production of recycled boxboard decreased compared to August 2016, but increased when compared to last month.
