Total U.S.boxboard production in Q3 2022 increased 3% compared to Q3 2021. It was up 2% when compared to the same 9 months of 2021.The boxboard operating rate was 95.7%, up 1.2 points from Q3 and up 0.6 points year-to-date, as the American Forest & Paper Association reported.
Solid bleached boxboard production in Q3 2022 increased 2% compared to Q3 2021. It was up 2% when compared to the same 9 months of 2021.
Recycled boxboard production in Q3 2022 increased 5% compared to Q3 2021. It was up 4% when compared to the same 9 months of 2021.
Uncoated kraft & gypsum production in Q3 2022 increased 3% compared to Q3 2021. It was up 1% when compared to the same 9 months of 2021.
