U.S. cabinet sales fall 0.7% in December

Cabinet manufacturers reported overall U.S. cabinet sales decreased by 0.7% in December 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA).

Total sales reported by survey participants for the month were $159.4 million. Custom sales increased by 7.1% to $46.8 million, while semi-custom sales decreased by 1.9% to $87.8 million. Stock sales fell by 9.5% to $24.8 million.

For the year-to-date period, total sales for survey participants decreased by 6.5% to $2.3 billion. Custom sales fell 4.4% to $627.3 million, semi-custom sales declined 5.7% to $1.3 billion, and stock sales dropped 12.4% to $363.5 million.

Estimated sales for the overall U.S. market in December were $1.5 billion. For the full year-to-date period, overall market sales are estimated at $22.2 billion.
