Cabinet manufacturers reported overall cabinet sales of were down 8.7% for August 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, according to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA).
The total sales reported by respondents for August 2025 amounted to $192 million. Custom sales accounted for $51.1 million, reflecting 11.7% year-on-year decrease. Semi-custom sales saw a decrease of 8.2%, amounting to $107.6 million, and stock sales down 5.3%, reaching $33.3 million.
The year-to-date sales for survey participants also decreased by 6.6% to $1.6 billion in August 2025. Custom sales contributed $423.0 million, or 5.9% decline; semi-custom sales reached $893.6 million, down 4.7%, and stock sales amounted to $251.2 million, or 13.9% drop.
The estimated sales for the overall market in August were reported at $1.85 billion. For the year-to-date period, the overall market estimated sales were $15.4 billion.
The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA), a longstanding representative of kitchen cabinet and bath vanity manufacturers along with key industry suppliers, has been diligently compiling and reporting industry sales data for over 40 years.
