VPK Group has increased its equity stake in UK-based Ribble Packaging Ltd from 30% to 50%, establishing a position of joint control with the company's other shareholders. This move follows VPK's initial minority acquisition in 2023 and is part of a strategy to strengthen its position in the European fanfold packaging market.
The partnership integrates Ribble into VPK's European fanfold production network, which includes facilities in Alizay, France and at Zetacarton in Italy. This geographic spread aims to efficiently serve e-commerce, distribution centers, and customers seeking right-sized packaging solutions. VPK Group will support the operation with a stable supply of recycled paper from its own mills in Belgium and France.
