Martin Taylor has been appointed Managing Director for the UK and Ireland at VPK Packaging, a move that underscores the company's commitment to the region as a key growth market. Taylor brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience across food, fresh produce, dairy and packaging sectors, with a background in multi-site operations and business transformation, according to VPK Packaging.
The UK and Ireland region hosts multiple VPK manufacturing sites serving customers in FMCG, beverage, retail and e-commerce through locally produced corrugated packaging. Taylor's career spans both operational and commercial roles, providing expertise in aligning manufacturing capabilities with customer needs. VPK Group continues to invest in people, plant and partnerships to strengthen domestic manufacturing and supply chain resilience across the region.
Patrick Leclercq, Divisional CEO Corrugated Board at VPK Group, noted Taylor's experience and leadership style as key factors in the appointment. Taylor succeeds Interim Managing Director Paul Barber, who supported the business during the transition period.
