Van Genechten Packaging (VGP) has finalized a Euro 10 million investment in its Latvian subsidiary, VG Kvadra Pak JSC, with the expanded production facility in Riga officially opening on 10 March. The project, which enhances the company's position in the Baltic and Nordic markets, was completed on schedule and became operational on 1 March 2026, according to VGP.

The expanded facility features state-of-the-art technology, advanced converting equipment, and expanded energy-efficient storage space. General Director Roberts Vasiļevskis stated that the investment strengthens VGP's presence in Northern Europe, increases flexibility for customers, and will create new employment opportunities. Construction works were carried out by UPB Nams LTD while maintaining full production continuity.
