Veolia will produce and supply 330,000 tons of steam annually to Hongwon Paper Manufacturing, the number 4 paper manufacturer in South Korea, enabling the annual production of over 350,000 tons of paper, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

This 10-year contract will improve the performances of the powerplant of the paper manufacturer, and reduce its CO2 emissions by 3%.

Régis Calmels, Veolia Senior Executive Vice President Asia, said: "This is Veolia’s first energy services contract in South Korea. This achievement reflects the development potential of our operations in terms of optimising energy facilities in Asia."
