Wood processing producer prices in China rise 0.2% in November

Producer prices in China’s wood processing sector rise 0.2% month-on-month in November 2025 after one month of decline, while remaining down 3.5% year-on-year, improving from a 3.7% year-on-year decrease in October, according to the National Bureau of Statistics of China.

Wood panel prices increase 0.5% month-on-month in November after one month of decline. Lumber prices fall 0.2% month-on-month after one month of increase. Prices of finished wood products decrease 0.1% month-on-month and remain 0.3% lower year-on-year. Logs and forestry product prices rise 0.2% month-on-month after one month of decline, while the year-on-year decrease narrows to 2.3% from 2.5% in October. 

Prices for bamboo, rattan, palm, and grass products fall 0.1% month-on-month for the third consecutive month and are down 1.8% year-on-year.

Producer prices across all industrial sectors in China decline 2.2% year-on-year in November 2025 and increase 0.1% month-on-month, remaining below 2024 levels.
