As part of the agreement, Woodgrain Millwork will take ownership of the facility, equipment, and the inventory of Gem Forest Products. Beginning February 15, a group of employees will operate the mill for two to three months to process the existing inventory, followed by a period of several months of mill renovation prior to a permanent start-up later in 2016.
Woodgrain will integrate Gem Forest Products' existing facility to supply lumber to its Fruitland, Idaho, manufacturing facility.
